The world’s first desktop sharing shootout took seccessfully place at the LEARNTEC 2007 in Karlsruhe. In accordance with the audience, the jury chose FastViewer as the winner.
FastViewers CEO, Steven Fürsch said: „We are very happy about this nomination, especially among such strong competitors (Netviewer, LogMeIn und Webex)".
The suspense during the competition reached unsurpassable dimensions because the tasks have been announced right at the event. But therefore, everyone had to prove his ad hoc skills.
The live comparison to the other provider proved that FastViewer has climbed the peak of desktop sharing. FastViewer offers now a secure, comfortable solution for support, service, training or sales.
The "Initiative Mittelstand" bestows since 2004 annualy the innovation award ITK at the CeBit and since 2006 the innovation award for industry at the Hanover fair. The awards are adressed to enterprises, that present the most innovative products in their respective catagory. More than 1,200 products made the run in 2007.
In 2008 there were already 1,600 products in the different categaries. Due to FastViewers future-oriented communication solution we were awarded with the prize in the category of communication for 2007 and industry software in 2008.

The German association for IT experts (BISG) awarded the FastViewer Remoted with this seal of quality and decribes the performance of the products with "very good". The tester were deeply contented with the ease of use, the stability and that FastViewer is free of installation. Also in the branch of connectivity types, fastviewer has all possibilities, e.g. HTTP client for “tunnel” connection (also behind the firewall), secure direct connection (encrypted) or direct connection.
