What do we require of our solution?
Besides eliminating the everyday communications chaos in the office, with our software solution we want to enable our customers to be flexible and to save travel costs. Our customers should be able to initiate voice and Web conferences at their workplace or participate in a conference, independent of time and place, quickly, easily and securely.
Why FastViewer?
As a leading company in the Web conferencing field, FastViewer was exactly the right partner for us. Through the collaboration, we have succeeded in enabling every user in an enterprise to plan voice and Web conferences with a simple click of the mouse. The customer works as usual from their groupware system since the functions are available via buttons integrated in the GUI. The ease of operation makes training unnecessary. Those invited to a conference can participate securely simply by executing an .exe file. The 256-bit AES encryption offers the necessary security. What is more, no program is installed on the computer’s hard disk. Thanks to FastViewer, we have been able to enhance our portfolio with these collaboration functions.
Operation:
Phone and Web conferences can be easily organized from the groupware system. To do this, the user opens the "New Event" window in the Outlook calendar as usual, and just adds audio and Web conferencing to the invitation. The cycos mrs server generates the appropriate data and reserves the appropriate virtual "conference rooms". The people invited to the Web conference receive the access information and password in their email invitation. While calls or phone conferences are taking place, users can simply start ad hoc Web conferences in the cycos CTI "cyPHONE" client. We’re all familiar with the situation: you suddenly decide to work straight on a document with the person you’re talking to. With the FastViewer solution, this is an intuitive option.

The integration of the FastViewer solution in our cycos mrs allows us to offer our customers easy-to-use Web conferencing – which guarantees a high level of security and is even TÜV-certified – to complete our Unified Communications Suite. Our partners and customers are especially enthusiastic about the solution being integrated into the groupware, since this means that communications services are offered where the user needs them, and can also deploy them, every day.

The appliance of programs for remote maintenance such as fastviewer gives an opportunity for us and our clients to provide hotline service and consulting for customers without great efforts and expenses. First of all, fastviewer has proved to be available for clients, requiring no further installation of components and programs. And also license model meets our requirements. The possibility to license the amount of connections instead of the number of clients was one of fastviewer advantages, which has convinced us and facilitated our everyday work.
What are the peculiarities of fastviewer?

To remove all troubles of remote system (Windows based industrial computer with touch screen for system control) in a fast and efficient way, the ZOLLER was searching for a simple remote maintenance solution, to function worldwide and to have an easy access to the computer desktop.
The solution:
In this case a small application is installed at clients, enabling a direct access over www. The special feature is an implementation of this service into the user interface and it is started only if necessary. It was assured by individual adjustment of the remote client. The license model was specially customized for the firm Zoller. So it extracts the necessary licenses directly from their merchandise management system using an appointed content.
At the present moment the enterprise ZOLLER is able to maintain over 800 devices using fastviewer.
Training:
Due to intuitive usability there was no need of training. The further implementation was closely adjusted to the needs of clients.
